Legacy

Some achievements are easy to quantify: the number of projects completed, the money invested, the results delivered.

Others reveal their value in the gradual ways they change collective life. Their effects may be subtle and difficult to measure, yet they can strengthen trust, deepen a sense of belonging, encourage people to take responsibility for the places they share, and remind us that cities are shaped not only by what is built, but also by the relationships that grow within them.

A legacy is not simply the outcome of a public initiative or the survival of a particular cultural practice. Its deeper value can be found in communities that learn to see and acknowledge one another, care for shared spaces, create positive points of reference, and uphold values that reach beyond the boundaries of their own communities.

This is where a local action takes on a wider human significance, becoming part of the social history of a city.
